Since Heather never updates her blog I thought I would take control and show everyone this Cute, Chubby, Sweet little girl! (This is Sam by the way!)
Mckinnly was born on Tuesday July 14th weighing 9 pounds 2oz!
Both Mom and baby and doing really good! Heather should get out of the hospital on Thursday or maybe Friday!
Heather and Chris are really bonding with her, Heather said she can't wait to get home and have her just sleep on her and cuddle her all day!
Easton is doing really good with her! The night before he was telling everyone that he didn't want a little sister, but when she finally came he was happy she was here!

A little update

I know, I know I am a sucky blogger! But alot has been going on, Chris has been busy with School and work and I have my hands full with Easton and working and I am sure most of you know but we are expecting a little GIRL in July.
I am in my 3rd trimester and feeling good. This pregnancy so far is going alot better than my last pregnancy!
We are so excited to have this little girl and cant wait to hold her in our arms!
Easton is the funnest little boy, he is talking perfectly now, it is so funny to hear what comes out of his mouth! He stays busy with his cousins/best friends at my sister April's house while I work!
He is very dependant he has to choose what he wants wear all the time, which is usually his pajamas. He loves sports and just by watching him you can tell he is going to be good at them, he is a natural!
We are loving life and cant wait to add to our family!

I can't believe how fast time goes by. Easton turned two the other day! He shared his birthday with Thanksgiving.

This year we went to Chris parents for Thanksgiving and they did a fun little party for him and then when we got back we went to chuck-e-cheese's with Reggie and Addi and then on Sunday we went up to my parents for a birthday party with all of his cousins. He had so much fun playing with all of his cousins and his new toys. Grandma Scott gave him a wagon and all the kids were wanting to play in it.

Easton the best kid ever, he always brings a smile to every one's face. We love him so much and can't wait to watch him grow each year.

Rock Band

We had a rock band party with some of my sister's awhile ago! It was so fun to see Easton try to play the drums with his dad. But It was messing Chris up so we decided to get Easton his own little toy to play music on and he was happy with it, he played right along with us through out each song.

We played Boys against girls and let just say this kind of stuff just comes natural to guys. Everytime we would get up to play the husbands would start telling us how bad we sucked and everything we were doing wrong. But I thought we were pretty good!

The kids decided that they wanted to take a bath togehter. It was so funny to see all three of them in there together!

Then they got Cookies and Licorice and went and layed on Addi's bed and watched Beauty and the Beast!

We had such a fun night and cant wait to do it again!

Okay I know I suck at blogging and that Labor day a couple of months ago but oh well!

Easton had so much fun at the Carnival riding all the rides with his cousin's Addi and Rian. They had to go on every little kid ride that they could!

Easton is getting to the funnest stage. We are loving every minute with him. He is starting to talk alot and he is always the happiest little boy!

Here is Easton and Addison taking a bath together. I thought this was funny because I put Easton in the bath as Addi was leaving, but as soon she saw Easton in the bath she was begging her mom to let her take a bath with Easton. Easton of course splashed and splashed to the point addi was ready to get out!

Easton Blowing His Nose

Here is a video of Easton blowing his own nose! We are very proud of him! Chris and I had gotten sick with the cold after coming back from one of the treatments in Denver Co, and I guess Easton saw us blowing our nose and just one day he picked up a tissue and started blowing his own nose. If you listen and look close you can hear see that he is actually really blowing his nose and not pretending.

Riley my brother in law, thought he would help me out by posting an update, but I didn't like how the Cervantes family was being represented, so I took matters back into my own hands. Easton's 1st Birthday

Here is Easton onhis first birthday! He is now offically ONE year old! How, time flys, it seems like just yesterday that he was born and now he's "one". I was kind of a lame mom and didn't do anything really exciting for his birthday. The only thing I did was put him in a high chair and gave him his own little birthday cake. He wasn't really into the whole cake thing. I tried to video him picking up his cake and trying to throw it off the high chair. Just ignore the voice talking on the video, it's kind of annoying.

Well here is another attempt at blogging. It's been so long since our last one, I had to keep asking Riley my brother- in- law how to do it. Easton is so much fun. He is crawling so fast and getting into everything. He loves to play with trucks and cars. I don't know how little boys know what toys are gender specific, but we are just thankful he is not playing with dolls. He now says Da Da, and he can clap and wave bye bye. No one believes us that he can clap or wave because he has stage fright. Every time we want to show other people what he can do, he just puts his head on our shoulders and stares like we don't know what we are talking about. Then as soon as the people start to walk away after 5 mins of trying, then he waves or claps- But I swear it can do it. I'll record it and post it on our next blog.

I always put Easton in the bathroom sink while I get ready, it's the only way we can make it work because he always wants to be held or just be close to me. Well one day I guess I left my eyeliner out, and lo and behold- his first art work!

Well I know it's about time that I get some pictures sent out to everyone, so here ya go. It's my first time doing a blog- so be nice. I thought I would give you a heads up about what is going on with the Cervantes family.

Chris is working full time at Arnell West and going to school at night through Weber State in Construction Management. He also does side jobs when he gets a chance. Chris has a lot on his plate right now but he still finds time to be a wonderful father and husband.

As for me, my life consists of working full time at Dr Christopher's, going home and making dinner and trying to spend time with Chris & Easton. I have also been going to Denver CO for treatments to shrink my tumor. So far it's looking pretty promising. We have to go out there once a month for 12 treatments. I have had 2 so far. Besides a swollen face and headaches, I'm doing pretty good. I'll have to take a picture and put it on my new blog.

Easton is a spitting image of Chris, there is not very much of me in him. He is growing up so fast. He is crawling and getting into everything. His favorite thing is to climb the stairs, when I tell him No, he just laughs and climbs the stairs really fast and looks back at me to see if I am chasing him. He is totally a mommy's boy. When I leave the room and Chris is holding him, Easton will start to cry and then I hear Chris say, " What's wrong with me, why do you always want mom". It makes me laugh. Easton wants to be held all the time. In the morning I have to put him in the sink while I get ready just so he can feel close to me. (I added a video below of him sitting in the sink). He has 2 teeth now. I didn't even know he was teething, one day there was just 2 teeth. I guess that explains him waking up during the middle of the night for 2 weeks straight. He loves to eat everything that Chris and I are eating. He would rather drink out of our cups, then a bottle. So far he really doesn't have anything he is attached to, like a blanket, favorite toy, bottle, which makes it difficult to try and soothe him. The only thing that calms him down, is if he is right in my arms. Easton does however, loves to be read to, and he loves to listen to the nursery rhymes CD. We play it none stop in the car. One time I turned it off so I could listen to the radio, he screamed until I turned it back on. I went out yesterday to buy a new CD because I personally am getting sick of listening to it. Right now, he is trying to talk. His favorite word is "KA", He says it over and over. He loves dogs and animals. I can't wait to take him to the zoo. Easton is such a joy, we just love him!!!
